Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Coppery orange.
Nose : Ample, rich. Remarkably fruity with freshness (orange, apricot, mango), the nose exhibits pyrotechnic notes (fuel, petroleum, banana). Upon aeration, vanilla and chocolate scents feed an increasingly medicinal (balm, mustard), spicy, and vegetal (tobacco) aromatic palette.
Palate : Lively, tense. Carrying on the vegetal character from the nose, the palate evolves towards a more lacteous register (agave). Medicinal and pyrotechnic, the mid-palate represents the Caroni style (hydrocarbons). Magnificent.
Finish : Long, determined. Mineral and even volcanic, the start of the finish is tarry and ashy (burning Havana). In the aftertaste, heady scents of vetiver, flowering geranium, and Indian carnation pervade the taste buds.
