BLENDS
Blended whiskies are a skilful combination of both malt and grain whiskies. Nikka’s two malt distilleries, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, provide the characterful pot still malts, while the Coffey Grain portion distilled from corn gives a smooth edge to the final blend.

Single malts must come from a single distillery, made from 100% malted barley and be distilled in pot stills. With two distilleries in the north of Japan, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, Nikka Whisky offers two different single malt expressions.

Kavalan Distillery has been pioneering the art of single malt whisky in Yilan County, Taiwan since 2005. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich meltwaters of Snow Mountain and is aged in a unique combination of intense heat and humidity together with sea and mountain breezes. All this combines to create the quality, smoothness, and fruity character for which Kavalan is known.
Amrut Distillery was founded in 1948, a few months after India’s independence.
Today, it is one of the best-known whisky distilleries in India, as well as globally, for putting Indian Single Malt whiskies on the map.
AMRUT
Known for putting Indian Single Malt Whiskies on the map, the barley for Amrut is specially grown in the foothills of the Himalayas and the whisky is matured at 3,000ft at Bangalore. Due to the tropical conditions, the whisky matures extremely quickly.
The standard Amrut Single Malt is a NAS whisky that is tropical and fruity. Their famous Amrut Fusion is a blend of peated Scottish and non-peated Indian barley. Aside from whiskies, Amrut also produces rum under its core range.
NEIDHAL
Amrut Distilleries introduces a new umbrella brand, SINGLE MALTS OF INDIA, to showcase hidden gem malts from India.
Neidhal is the first chapter in this new range by Amrut.
Ancient Tamil texts classify earth into 5 regions called Tinais. Each is associated with its own distinct style. “Neidhal” comprises of Oceans and Coastal Plains. Neidhal is a single malt eponymously sourced from a coastal region and exhibits traits that uniquely springs from the locale.
NILGIRIS GIN
From the plantation to a bottle, this is Amrut Distillery’s first foray into the world of botanical-based craft gins.
The inception for this distilled gin was initiated by the late Shri Neelakanta Rao Jagdale, the then-chief managing director of Amrut during an impromptu visit to a botanical estate in Doddabetta.
And so began the journey across the state to source ingredients that would go into making a gin that would belong to this region.
