Produced almost exclusively from barley cultivated in the fertile plains at the foot of the Himalayas, and always non-chill filtered to preserve all its characteristics at the time of bottling, Amrut resembles the great whiskies of Speyside with its fruity, chocolatey, and spicy notes typical of aging in ex-bourbon barrels.
Proud of its success, the distillery now offers small batches at natural strength, proofed at over 60%, to further highlight the finesse and unique character of this single malt. Lastly, a Peated version made from Scottish malted barley has been available for several years, a testament to its unique craftsmanship.
