Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Deep coppery orange.
Nose : Rich, profound. Animalistic (bacon, leather), smoky (ashes), and delightfully fruity (apricot, mango), the initial aroma is impressively full. With aeration, scents of toasted bread, gingerbread, and dark chocolate add indulgence and vitality to the aromatic palette.
Palate : Lively, refined. Beautifully herbaceous (fresh hay), malty, smoky, and animalistic (smoked bacon), the mouth entry is peppery and spicy (Espelette). The mid-palate roots itself in a peaty ground infused with mineral salts. The finish is slightly smoky (incense).
Finish : Long, concentrated. Flavors of curry strongly permeate the taste buds. In the aftertaste, the port wine carries red and black fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, cherry). Towards the end, notes of ylang-ylang transport the palate towards the Orient.
Profile: Concentrated, refined.
