Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Mahogany.
Nose : Voluptuous, deep. Licorice, smoky (burnt wood), the first nose flirts with the world of bourbons. With aeration, very pretty oxidative notes of red and black fruit vinegar (cherry, blackberry) underline the beautiful influence of port wine.
Palate : Lively, tense. In line with the nose, the palate’s attack is winey (black grape) and licorice. Flavors of distillate with an unprecedented purity of expression form the backbone of the flavor profile. The finish evokes a plum eau-de-vie.
Finish : Long, elegant. Rancio-infused (cherry eau-de-vie), the finish evolves towards notes of salted butter caramel and toffee. Then, unexpectedly, the aftertaste is adorned with enchanting exotic tones (mango, persimmon, guava, lychee).
Profile : Voluptuous, lively.
