Tasting Notes

Colour : Golden yellow.

Nose : Rich, substantial. Medicinal (mustard, arnica), mineral (gum arabic), and herbaceous (chamomile, lemongrass), the initial nose is impressively full of solar richness. Upon aeration, scents of musk and yellow grapefruit are enveloped in empyreumatic notes of hail and turpentine.

Palate : Both lively and smooth. Also petroleum-like (fuel), the mouthfeel adds warm rubber flavors to its palate. The mid-palate ventures into extremely juicy vanilla and fruity (pear, mirabelle) territories. The very end of the palate is honeyed (geranium, acacia).

Finish : Long, indulgent. Vanilla (custard), spicy (ginger, clove), and syrupy (warm cane sugar), the start of the finish is slightly earthy (ashes, soot). Exotic (banana, pineapple), the aftertaste is embellished with hints of aged precious wood and barley sugar.
