Nestled in the Namyangju Mountains, northeast of Seoul, Ki One Distillery is South Korea’s first single malt distillery. Located at the foot of Mount Baekbongsan, it benefits from an ideal environment for maturing its whiskies, characterized by harsh winters and exceptionally hot summers. These temperature variations promote rapid maturation while maintaining a low evaporation rate. Ki One embodies a contemporary vision of Korean craftsmanship by highlighting local ingredients such as Namyangju water, renowned for its exceptional purity, as well as strong cultural elements. The traditional Samtaegeuk motif (symbolizing balance) adorns the capsule, while the label, printed on Korean hanji paper, underscores the distillery’s artisanal roots. Each bottle thus reveals an authentic expression of Korean terroir and culture.
