Tasting Notes

Colour : Deep golden yellow.

Nose : Expansive, complex. Airy, the nose oscillates between fragrances of aromatic plants (chamomile), heady flowers (gorse, mimosa), exotic fruits (pineapple, banana), fresh nuts, and spices (curry, ginger). With aeration, the palette becomes infused (lemon balm, verbena) and rustic (dandelion, straw).

Palate : Rich, concentrated. The palate reveals flavors of zucchini flower fritters and coconut milk at the forefront. Then, barley and rice grains highlight a fine texture. Smooth, the finish invites savoring a delicious milk tart.

Finish : Long, robust. Very fruity (mirabelle plum, yellow peach), rooty (gentian), and spicy (cardamom), the finish is intimately connected to the palate. Covered with a fine layer of black licorice, the aftertaste is indulgent (pineapple tart), liqueur-like (botrytised grapes), and infused (chamomile).
