Tasting Notes

Colour : Deep golden yellow.

Nose : Rich, deep. Superbly malty and waxy (beeswax, royal jelly), the initial nose is also powdery (rice) and fruity (candied mirabelle). Upon aeration, strong spices (curry, clove, nutmeg), aromas of lime, and fresh coriander give way to lavender honey.
Palate: Full-bodied, refined. The palate’s attack is remarkably fresh. Then, citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon), herbal infusions (sage, verbena), and vanilla intermingle with delight. Gourmand (porridge), the finish is rooted in gentian.

Finish : Long, substantial. Tenderly cocoa-infused, the beginning of the finish invites us to savor zucchini and green tomato fritters. A lemony and honeyed aftertaste (acacia) is followed by a praline and milky finish (almond, coconut).
