Developed from 23 American oak casks and 9 sherry casks, batch number 2 of The Balvenie Tun 1509 reveals this famous single malt in a more medicinal and earthy light than usual. Very “Dufftownian”, it proudly takes us to discover the beauty of the landscapes surrounding this town located in the heart of Speyside as well as the malting floors of the distillery. Nevertheless, this does not prevent it from indulging in some fruity and floral flights of original lyricism.
