Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Copper
Nose : Rich, full-bodied. Scents of peat, soot, blood orange, charred wood, and toasted bread deeply permeate the aromatic space. With aeration, the aromatic profile shifts towards more meaty (bacon), medicinal (camphor, mustard plaster), and empyreumatic (soot) notes.
Palate : Lively, sleek. The flavor profile becomes more fermented and ashy, while also indulgent (marmalade) and juicy (imperial mandarin). Heady (iris, lily) and chocolatey, the tasting continues with notes of polish (beeswax, sandpaper).
Finish : Long, radiant. With considerable lift, the flavor profile becomes crackling (fireplace), empyreumatic (hydrocarbons), and simultaneously exotic (lychee, pomegranate). Over time, flavors of smoked bacon and ylang-ylang bring an original touch to the end of the tasting.
