Description
TASTING NOTE
Color: orange copper.
Nose: delicate, subtle. Very pretty, the aromatic palette closely mixes aromas of straw, peat, licorice, smoke, tincture of iodine, apricot, salt, toffee, nuts, salted butter caramel, onion fried, chocolate, incense, heather honey, currant, camphor, paprika, black pepper, cloves, iris concrete, coffee, gingerbread… Magnificent.
Palate: lively, racy. On the palate, peat and smoke lead to delicious flavors of quince jelly, rose petal, wild strawberry and candied fruit (orange, apricot) in their wake. On the mid-palate, lavender honey, dark chocolate and pistachio flavors bring a lot of originality and smoothness to the taste palette. The aftertaste is marked by notes of malted barley of rare intensity.
Overall: long, silky. Animal (bacon, smoked fish), the start of the finish is also earthy and ashy. Gradually, pine resin, lime blossom honey and bay leaves leave an indelible mark on the very end of the palate. Later, the curls of smoke and the spicy flavors of a Havana float in the air with a delicately syrupy retro-olfaction (raisin, natural sweet wine). The empty glass is herbaceous (hay, straw), greedy (mocha), spicy (saffron, cinnamon) and mint.
