NEISSON Profil Équilibre Carole Aurore Assemblage Mizunara Itinéraires

Founded in 1931, Neisson is Martinique’s smallest distillery and one of the island’s longstanding producers of Martinique Agricultural Rum AOC. For three generations, the Neisson family has maintained a traditional approach centred on fresh sugar cane juice rather than molasses. Located in the north of Martinique, the distillery’s volcanic terroir and tropical climate contribute to the distinctive aromatic character of its rums.

Created as part of the Itinéraires collection, this Profil Équilibre cuvée is a blend of equal parts rums aged in Mizunara Japanese oak and new American oak barrels toasted in the same manner as Neisson Profil 107. The bottle features artwork by Martinican artist Carole Aurore, reflecting the cuvée’s connection to the island. The combination of cask influences produces a complex and refined profile, balancing mineral and saline notes with oxidative character, tropical fruit, spice and delicate florals.
