This rum pays tribute to Antoinette Isautier, the first female leader of the House in 1865. This traditional rum honors the woman who helped spread the Isautier rum around the world. Deep, complex, and intense, it is round, flavorful, and has a beautiful aromatic freshness. This traditional rum (made from molasses) was column-distilled in 2004. Selected by our cellar master for its exceptional potential, it was aged in new oak barrels for 8 to 14 months and then in fine-grain red barrels in our cellar in Saint-Pierre de la Réunion. This exceptional rum is a rum of character that sublimates the know-how and expertise of the House.

Nose : A marriage between stone fruit, pastry, and vanilla aromas. Then deeper scents of spices, chocolate, and even cigar boxes appear.
Palate : Rich and creamy. Stone fruit, chocolate, ginger, and beeswax.
Finish : Expressive and complex, prolonging for a long time; combining vanilla and ginger with flavors of precious wood and cocoa.
