An LMDW exclusive

Founded in 2005 by Martine and Jean Donnay, the Glann Ar Mor distillery has already developed a strong reputation. This comes down to their refusal to make any concessions in their goal to produce a high-quality artisanal product. The distillery is equipped with a pair of small onion-shaped stills (one 1,100-litre wash still and one spirit still with a capacity of just 650 litres). Both are direct-fired and use copper worm tubes. The warehouse is just a hundred metres from the sea. Expressing both sweet pastry aromas and sea spray, the cask selected for the Version Française range perfectly reflects the distillery’s environment!

Profile: with remarkable precision and clarity, this old Glann Ar Mor 2007 is a single malt that combines the richness of the finest sweet pastries with the minerality of a Breton coast. Fruit and spice brings exoticism, with aromas of banana, vanilla and coconut. Discreet notes of liquorice stick and camphor increase the sensation of freshness and complexity.
