Tasting Notes

Colour : Bright gold.

Nose : Delicate, refined. Camphor and ash, the nose opens with aromas of citrus zest, green walnut, and tiger balm. A very pleasant salinity blends with malty scents of great purity.

Palate : Lively, vibrant. Malty, the attack on the palate highlights fruits (pear, yellow melon, Golden apple) and spices (star anise, clove). Mineral (slate), the mid-palate becomes increasingly licorice-like and fermentative (malt beer).

Finish : Long, refined. Creamy (coconut), the start of the finish picks up the iodine notes from the nose (samphire, seaweed). Then, new spices (cardamom, nutmeg), flavors of straw, pressed lemon, and smoke swirls compete in intensity.
