Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Pale gold.
Nose : Rich, distinctive. Ashy (soot), medicinal (balm), empyreumatic (burnt), and saline, the aromatic palette clearly evokes a single malt from the island of Islay. It then evolves toward rooty (gentian), citrusy, malty, and exotic (pineapple) registers of great subtlety.
Palate : Clear, lively. In turn, it is medicinal, mineral, and ashy; the taste palette also reveals vanilla and fermentation (porridge). Gradually, flavors of mint, green tea, and chlorophyll provide a great deal of freshness.
Finish : Long, indulgent. Shared between a more diaphanous smoke and flavors of vanilla and anise flan, the tasting reaches its point of balance. Playing hide and seek, the peat and malted barley keep the taster on edge. Long after, the empty glass remains silky and floral.
