Westward American Single Malt Chardonnay Cask takes our love for wine-finished whiskeys to legendary new heights with the influence of coveted French oak barrels from one of Wine & Spirits’ Top 100 wineries of 2022, prized for its Chardonnay releases.
This unforgettable expression began its journey just as all our whiskeys do, with malted barley sourced right here from our rich, fertile Pacific Northwest terroir. Once fermented, distilled, and aged to taste here in the Northwest, this release enjoyed an additional year in Chardonnay casks from the Russian River Valley, one of the most iconic winemaking regions in the U.S.
The result of this delicate finishing process and the influence of the French Oak cask adds brightness, acidity, and an extra layer of complexity, making this a whiskey that endures well after every sip.
