Tasting Notes

Colour : Old gold.

Nose : Fine, noble. At first nose, a magnificent empyreumatic sequence (rubber, gum arabic) sets the tone. With aeration, scents of blooming geranium, kiwi, and fresh sugarcane add rhythm and brilliance to the aromatic palette.

Palate : Elegant, lively. Spicy, the mouthfeel is flooded with sugarcane juice and sugarcane. Finely herbaceous, the mid-palate evokes a field of sugarcane heated by the sun’s rays. Geranium honey enhances the heady character of the gustatory palette.

Finish : Long, full-bodied. Chocolatey and vanilla, the start of the finish is also infused (laurel, sage) and rooty (gentian). In the aftertaste, sugarcane sugar envelops the taste buds, while sweet spices (cinnamon, ginger) and dried bananas punctuate the tasting.
