Founded in 1958 by Long John Distillers, Tormore was the first distillery built in the 20th century and remains one of Speyside’s most architecturally distinctive sites. Designed by Sir Albert Richardson, its listed buildings reflect the elegance that has long surrounded the distillery. Historically contributing much of its production to blends, Tormore has increasingly gained recognition for its refined and fruit-driven single malt character.
This Tormore 12 Year Old 2012 Single Cask highlights the distillery’s bright and elegant spirit through a youthful and expressive profile. Released as part of the Legacy range, it reflects a new chapter for Tormore, placing emphasis on purity, vitality and the distillery’s naturally fruity style. Fresh barley and orchard fruits combine with creamy pastry notes and gentle oak influence, creating a whisky that is both approachable and sophisticated.
