Tasting Notes

Colour : Topaz golden yellow.

Nose : Lively and expressive. Initially oxidative (reminiscent of royal jelly, roasted nuts, and veiled wine), the first aroma evokes a magnificent aged Jura yellow wine with hints of curry and dried flowers. Upon aeration, subtle hints of artichoke heart mingle with notes of cider from Pays d’Auge.

Palate : Elegant and refined. The initial impression with notes of raisins recalls a Jura straw wine. Mid-palate, flavors of toffee and candied ginger blend with sugarcane and gingerbread slices.

Finish : Zesty and lively. The finale starts with an exotic touch of mango and guava, refreshed by lime zest. The aftertaste presents notes of pipe tobacco and tar. The end is delightfully floral with hints of geranium honey and iris concrete, along with root-like notes of gentian.
