Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Old gold with coppery reflections.
Nose : Elegant, complex. At first sniff, a magnificent sequence revealing scents of orange and chocolate sets the stage for a tasting full of promises. With aeration, very ripe mangoes, mineral aromas (shale), and hydrocarbon vapors wonderfully enrich the aromatic palette.
Palate : Noble, tonic. On the palate, the oranges sensed on the nose release their tangy and fresh juice. More rooty (ginger, gentian), the mid-palate is also indulgent (warm sugar cane). The finish is finely apricot (stone).
Finish : Long, refined. Powdery (cocoa, red tea), the finish encompasses the entire fruity register of the nose and palate. Toffee and oak wood flavors fuel a very substantial mid-palate. The finish is both naturally fibrous and vegetal (sugarcane).
