Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Ample, smooth. A blend of ripe fruits (orange, mirabelle plum, passion fruit), it becomes increasingly creamy (pistachio, chocolate, praline) and floral (lily, rose, peony). The smoke continually delays its appearance. Its mere evocation is enough to balance and transcend the aromatic palette.
Palate : Lively, firm. Its attack is green (grass, ivy, linden). It makes us breathe in deeply a fresh and salty air. The mid-palate is extremely fruity (orange, strawberry). Becoming more and more candied (apricot, date), it shows a lot of maturity. As with the nose, the peat arrives on tiptoe.
Finish : Long, silky. Is it due to the presence of black and oily licorice and fresh tobacco? In any case, this time, the peat invites itself with authority, complexity, and elegance to the fruity, floral, and spicy (ginger) debates that the finish generously offers us. The retro-olfaction is indulgent (prune flan) and the empty glass is vegetal, fruity, and smoky (ash, soot).
