MHOBA Select White Habitation Velier

Mhoba Distillery, based in South Africa’s Mpumalanga River Valley, is known for producing distinctive rums from locally grown sugar cane. This Select White marks the first white rum from Mhoba to be bottled under the Habitation Velier range, offering a pure and powerful expression of the distillery’s unique production style.

Made from freshly pressed juice of the local N49 sugar cane variety, the cane is organically grown and manually pressed before undergoing uncontrolled wild fermentation in the open air. The rum is distilled in custom-made stills crafted by Mhoba’s master distiller, with only the finest distillation cuts selected and blended. Bottled at an impressive 66.2% ABV, with a congener content of 839.7 g/hlAA, this is an intensely aromatic white rum with remarkable concentration and depth.
