Nose : Rich, concentrated. Malted barley reigns supreme over an exceptionally complex aromatic palette. Palate : Ample, elegant. With strength, the palate imposes its floral and honeyed notes (lavender) as well as its spices (pepper, ginger, cinnamon). The mid-palate meanders between malted barley, vetiver, citrus fruits, and ripe fruits (melon, persimmon). Then, red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) and white mint make for a refreshing and spicy finish. Gradually, it transforms into a pure malted delight.

Finish : Long, firm. Tertiary (café au lait, mushrooms), it also reveals compote notes (apple, mirabelle plum, damson plum). Precious wood and pipe tobacco wrap the back palate with their deliciously powdery and vegetal flavors. The retro-olfaction is vanilla, chocolatey, and smoky (burnt wood, apricot kernel, beeswax). The empty glass has a spicy (Espelette pepper) and almost medicinal camphorated (tiger balm) aroma.
