Description
Nose: Lavish and full-bodied. Saturated with smoke and omnipresent peat, the aromatic palette also exudes scents of candied fruits (lemon, pear), Bourbon vanilla, almond milk and fleur de sel. With aeration, medicinal notes (balsam), incense and artichoke hearts reveal a lively and creamy dimension.
Palate: Powerful and vibrant. The palate shows a more exotic side (banana, pineapple), with peat and smoke slightly softened in the background. Mid-palate, it becomes airy, carried by an irresistibly indulgent malty note (flan). As it develops, its fruity profile (pear, mirabelle plum) becomes increasingly prominent.
Finish: Refreshing and polished. Harmonizing perfectly with the nose and palate, the finish evolves freely from peaty and earthy to fruity and vanilla. As flavours return and recede, it grows more malty and gently herbaceous (cut hay, barley grain), all wrapped in a deliciously briny, saline aura.
