KILCHOMAN 13 ans

Following the landmark launch of Kilchoman’s 16 Year Old in 2023, this limited edition 13 Year Old brings another milestone age statement from the farm distillery. Matured for 13 years in a mix of bourbon barrels, octaves, and calvados casks, it delivers a balance of juicy fruits, maritime peat smoke, and layered sweetness.

The ex-bourbon casks form the backbone, bringing Kilchoman’s classic vanilla, citrus and smoke. A portion of the whisky is matured in octaves (small casks around one-eight the size of a butt) which accelerates flavour development, imparting concentrated oak richness and spice. Finally, calvados casks introduce a vibrant green apple and fresh fruit lift, adding a distinctive twist to the Islay style.
