Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Old gold.
Nose : Fine, elegant. Scents of beeswax, candied fruits (pear, mirabelle), and camphor create a lively olfactory sequence. With aeration, heady aromas of geranium, hyacinth, and iris elegantly fill the olfactory space.
Palate : Generous, structured. Licorice and chocolate notes make the flavor profile particularly powerful. Saturated with flavors of petroleum and smoked bacon, it becomes increasingly empyreumatic while retaining a very pleasant fruity smoothness (pineapple, banana).
Finish : Long, intense. Compact, the tasting experience continues with notes of sugar cane, warm brown sugar, and extremely concentrated asphalt. Then, new candied fruits (kiwi, quince, apricot) provide a lot of softness to a very Hampden-like finish.
