Description
TASTING NOTE
Nose: full, unctuous. The spices (cinnamon, cloves, red pepper, cumin) are placed in front. Then come the notes of juniper berries, praline and sweet almond. Medicinal (balm), empyreumatic (eucalyptus, pine), it is softened by acacia honey.
Palate: rather lively, it reveals a myriad of citrus fruits (bitter oranges, lemon, yellow grapefruit), vanilla and pecan nuts. Spices have taken a back seat. On the other hand, the juniper berry is restored with the same intensity. It extends with delicacy on green liquorice and fresh ginger.
Finish: long, sweet. It is with a lot of balance that it unfolds on ripe fruits (apple, pear) and on an elegant woody-vanilla note. Exotic (kiwi, pineapple), a bit salty, it lingers on with herbaceous notes (moss, cut hay) and green walnut. The empty glass is clearly medicinal (arnica, mustard).
