Born from the celebrated partnership between Luca Gargano of Velier and Richard Seale of Foursquare Distillery (launched in 2016), the Velier x Foursquare series has become one of the most sought-after in rum. Fidelitas is the tenth edition in this collaboration, and the oldest Foursquare release to date.
A single blended rum distilled in both the traditional copper double retort pot still and twin column Coffey stills, Fidelitas was fully matured under tropical conditions for 20 years. The ageing unfolded in two phases: 19 years in ex-Bourbon casks, followed by 1 year in ex-Marsala wine casks, imparting refined sweetness and depth. Bottled in January 2025 at 55% ABV, only 2,160 bottles were produced.
Fidelitas reveals a softer, more rounded dimension of Foursquare; rare, refined and simply delicious.
