Produced in El Salvador, a country located in Central America, South of Guatemala and West of Honduras. Distilled in the only distillery in El Salvador: Licorera Cihuatan, created in 1999. Using a column still, they look after distillation and ageing.
The Fair. Salvador Rum XO is a blend of rums aged from 3 to 6 years in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon. The sugarcane is certified fair-trade. Sourced directly from a co-op of 209 independent farmers (Asociación Cooperativa de Producción Agropecuaria El Sunza R.L.) in El Salvador.
