CHICHIBU Paris Edition 2025 Montmartre Itinéraires

Every year since 2018, the Chichibu distillery, founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008, has created a special blend dedicated to the City of Lights: Chichibu Paris Edition. Exploring the geography and urban identity of Paris and Tokyo, the 2025 vintage invites you to travel through the emblematic districts of the two capitals: Montmartre and Asakusa; Le Marais and Harajuku; Les Champs-?lys?es and Ginza.

Six labels have been created for this edition, featuring a colourful pop-art style inspired by Japanese kawaii culture. Designed like postage stamps with jagged edges, they symbolise travel and the dialogue between these two vibrant urban cultures.

Chichibu Paris Edition 2025 is crafted from a complex blend:
? four casks of new French oak,
? one Spanish oak cask previously used for sherry,
? three French oak casks that matured red Bordeaux wine,
? one American oak hogshead,
? six bourbon barrels,
? and two bourbon barrels that previously held heavily peated whisky.

The whiskies used range from five to fourteen years old. Enriched by this eclectic selection of casks, its aromatic and flavour profile is anchored by a strong malty foundation that guides it confidently through all its aromatic territories. Exceptionally well-balanced, it freely explores earthy, fruity, spicy, indulgent and herbal dimensions, each expressed with compelling intensity.
