Founded in 1881 by William Robertson and brothers William and James Greenless, Bunnahabhain began production in January 1883. After expanding from two to four stills in 1963, the distillery experienced a short closure from 1982 to 1984.

Deeply characteristic of Bunnahabhain, this version evolves not only through peaty, smoky, animal, and iodine sequences but also incorporates essential spicy, chocolatey, and fruity notes for balance.

The labels of the Artist Collective 7.0 range are illustrated by German visual artist Katrin Bremermann, whose works explore universal concepts of form, proportion, rhythm, and structure. This new artistic collaboration was made possible with the assistance of the Beaux Arts Institute, a reference in innovative artistic partnerships.
