Each cask is filled, weighed and stamped by hand before being matured in traditional bonded warehouses.
Benromach 22 Years 2003 Small Batch Edition #1 is the inaugural release in the distillery’s Small Batch series. Matured in a carefully selected combination of first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks, this limited edition brings together rich red fruits, vibrant orange zest and Benromach’s signature gentle smokiness. After more than two decades of maturation, the whisky delivers a rich yet balanced profile, moving from berries and dark chocolate to Seville orange, oak and subtle smoke.

Nose: Rich and fruity, with raspberry, strawberry and cranberry. Dried ginger and dark chocolate lead into intense orange marmalade, followed by green apple and a gentle layer of smoke.
Palate: Smooth and sweet, with stewed apple and rich Seville orange. Burnt oak adds depth before giving way to strawberry liquorice.
Finish: Medium-bodied and fruity, with nutty notes and a subtle, lingering touch of smoke.
Style: Rich and gently smoky. Red berries, orange, chocolate.
