Benromach traces its roots back to pre-1960s Speyside and produces a whisky with hints of delicate smoke and a wonderful balance of flavours. Known for the high quality of its distillate, the distillery takes particular care in the production of its whisky. Indeed, Benromachs three distillers carefully orchestrate every second of the distillation process and use only high-quality, 100% Scottish ingredients. Each cask is filled, weighed and stamped by hand, before being matured for a number of years in their traditional bonded warehouses. Slightly peaty, it comes from a blend of only first-fill bourbon and oloroso sherry barrels. The result is a malty and fruity single malt sublimated by a smoky note. Rich and malty. Stewed fruits, black cherry, vanilla, smoke and malt.
