Tasting Notes

Colour : Old gold with coppery highlights.

Nose : Rich, voluptuous. Cocoa beans and acetic notes (gherkin) form an unprecedented and original olfactory duo. With aeration, medicinal scents (bandage, arnica) spread over a spicy (clove) and heady (ylang-ylang) aromatic palette.

Palate : Both lively and robust. At the palate’s attack, flavors of sugar cane, vanilla, and geranium achieve a perfect harmony. In the mid-palate, licorice introduces an ethereal (macerated fruits, royal jelly) and peppery (Cayenne) finish.

Finish : Long, dynamic. The beginning of the finish pleasantly reveals oxidative notes (mirabelle plum, raisin). Delightfully praline, the aftertaste unveils a chocolate bitterness. Flavors of candied ginger and cinnamon embellish the very end of the palate.
