Real tangerines — yellow and orange citrus fruits — are grown exclusively in Sicily. A relatively rare fruit, the tangerine is known for its surprising flavour. As soon as you forget the seeds, the flavours burst and awakens our taste buds. It’s nothing like other citrus fruits. Combined with rum, its zest creates a perfect and subtle harmony. Tangerines are available from January to March. The maceration process is somewhat confidential: as tangerines are fragile product that is difficult to find, the rum is made in small quantities at the beginning of each year.
