Tasting Notes
Nose : The first nose is lively, with aromas of black fruits and coconut cream. Upon airing, delicate notes of vanilla, toffee, and dark chocolate mingle with the woody notes brought by maturation in ex-bourbon casks. Finally, the esters delicately emerge behind the aromas of tamarind and flowers.
Palate : First, the syrupy dried black fruits stand out, brought by the second maturation in ex-port casks. Then, the flavors evolve on vanilla cream and dark chocolate. The mid-palate is silky with notes of heady flowers. At the end of the palate, the ester notes blend with spices (black pepper).
Finish : Dry, with phenolic and honeyed notes.
Profile : Rich, peated.
