Description
Nose: The first nose is marked by an intense woodiness with notes of toast, perfectly integrating the smoky notes of peat with dark tones. Sweet spices and marmalade are gradually revealed, as well as gourmet notes of Morello cherry, cocoa and vanilla.
Mouth: Very round on the attack, no doubt the influence of rum and its aromas of butterscotch and candied citrus fruits, the mouth continues on an impressive density, a concentrate of cocoa and macerated fruits, enhanced by a subtle floral note and camphor freshness.
Finish: The smoke now tends towards ashy notes, while retaining a certain sweetness that continues through the delicacy of pastry notes, spices and a hint of vanilla.
