Tasting Notes
Colour : Vivid gold.
Nose : Fine, complex. At first scent, aromas of freshly cut hay mingle with notes of vanilla, candied lemon, and Williams pear. Upon aeration, a fine layer of licorice, noble spices (cardamom, clove), white flowers (lily of the valley, lilac), and coconut milk enrich the aromatic palette.
Palate : Clear, slender. Exotic (pineapple, kiwi, banana) and mineral (chalk), the mouthfeel highlights medicinal (balm) and mentholated notes. Indulgent, the mid-palate smoothly revisits the vanilla notes from the nose (custard, cream). The finish is smoothly licorice-infused (stick).
Finish : Long, serene. Retaining some medicinal traces, the start of the finish is wonderfully malty. In perfect vegetal continuity, the aftertaste reveals numerous aromatic plants (rosemary, savory, sage). Towards the end of the palate, fresh fruits (apple, pear) release a juice that is both sweet and tangy on the palate.
