In a deep blue box, the Yoichi Single Malt set evokes the maritime climate enjoyed by the distillery founded in 1934, located on the coast of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island.
Masataka Taketsuru chose this distillery’s location for its similarities to Scotland’s climate.
The single malts are still produced using traditional methods, such as direct heating over a coal fire.
These blends of whiskies of different ages express a subtle balance of smoky, fruity, and floral aromas.
