Description
Tasting Notes
Nose : Rich and powerful. The peat is of rare concentration yet never overbearing. To illustrate this feat, it is enriched with fruity (blood orange), spicy (clove), floral (hyacinth), and peppery (Cayenne) notes. With aeration, the nose becomes increasingly medicinal (balm, camphor) and animalistic (bacon, smoked fish).
Palate : Full of life and indulgent. Peat dominates the initial taste, displaying notable spiciness and medicinal qualities. The mid-palate bursts with red (strawberry, raspberry) and black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry). Gradually, clove comes to the forefront, enveloped in cocoa and roasted coffee notes. The overall impression is one of indefinable charm and great sensuality.
Finish : Long and creamy. The peat retains its full presence, alternating between chocolate, licorice, fruit, floral, saline, and spicy notes, asserting its dominance. Yet, it exudes remarkable elegance. The aftertaste is spiritual (incense) and praline-like, favoring exotic fruits (passionfruit, mango), while thick smoke and bacon notes emerge from the empty glass.
