Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Old gold with amber highlights.
Nose : Fine, balanced. Initially, aromas of corn, tangerine, and beeswax lend a great nobility of expression to the aromatic palette. With aeration, it evolves toward more floral (geranium, hyacinth), powdery (cocoa), and spiced notes.
Palate : Crisp, vibrant. The entry is cereal-like, while also being vanilla and fruity (apple jam, quince jelly). Licorice notes then oscillate between cinnamon, new oak, and dried fruits (cashew nuts, almond).
Finish : Long, radiant. The tasting lingers on spicy, medicinal (sinapism), and camphor flavors. With a rooty character (gentian), the finish is pleasantly salty. Long after, in retro-nasal olfaction, a bay leaf infusion refreshes the palate perfectly.
