Founded in 1897, the Tomatin distillery is located in the Highlands region and is one of the ten most important distilleries in Scotland. Although its production is mainly intended for blends, the single malt versions remain highly appreciated for their delicate and fruity profile. Distilled in 2007, this Tomatin has aged entirely in ex-first fill bourbon barrels, adding to its fresh and fruity profile smooth notes of sweet spices, coconut and a hint of toast. A classic style yet very successful single malt. The perfect introduction to independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail’s impressive collection of whiskeys, the Discovery range comes in three main flavor profiles: sherry, bourbon, and peated. Something to delight all fans.
