Tasting Notes
Nose : Intense and indulgent. Salt and pickle, pepper and cinnamon, lime and verbena are just some of the duos it offers upfront. Its lovely woodiness recalls certain coastal single malts. With its classicism and delicacy, it proves very enticing.
Palate : Round and smooth. The salt takes a back seat to the pepper, giving it a darker hue. Exotic fruits (pineapple, kiwi) surround the lime. Freshly grated ginger appears, and the licorice stick is ever-present.
Finish : Creamy and fine. Salt makes its grand return, though it never really went away. Every note, whether floral or fruity, oscillates—and even hesitates—between pepper and salt. The retro-olfaction lingers on the fruit pulp. The empty glass is a concentrated essence of tequila.
