Description
Tasting Notes
Colour : Deep gold.
Nose : Fine and distinguished. Wonderfully balanced, fruity, malty, and spicy, with delightful vanilla, honeyed, and oxidized notes (yellow wine). With aeration, exotic fruits (banana, pineapple) mingle with field flower aromas (buttercup, snowdrop). Gradually, beeswax coats the palate.
Palate : Dynamic and noble. Flavors of greengage plum, mirabelle, and yellow melon take center stage. Slightly sparkling, the flavor profile evolves toward creamy (coconut), licorice, and menthol notes. Over time, a hint of tiger balm envelops the palate.
Finish : Long and smooth. Toffee flavors shift the tasting experience toward more fermentative notes (wort). Particularly evocative, the aftertaste invites us to admire the bucolic landscape of the Speyside region. Later, scents of wax and candied ginger emerge from the empty glass.
