Colour : Dark amber

Nose : Rich, ample. The luscious aromas of walnut, apricot, and cherry recall the world of Tokay wines and Jura straw wines. Oriental and honeyed scents emerge with aeration, reminiscent of biting into Eastern pastries (makrouts, zlabias).

Palate : Dense, oxidative. Star anise notes introduce a vibrant palate, unfolding one by one into herbaceous tones (licorice), spicy accents (nutmeg, grey pepper), oxidative notes (raisin), and fruity hints (strawberry, melon). With aeration, a slight spiciness invigorates the tasting.

Finish : Generous, complex. Notes of raisin, cranberries, and yellow wine echo the oxidative character of the mid-palate. A hint of honeyed tea adds warmth and indulgence to the finish. The aftertaste reveals fine tannins with a slight bitterness.
