Description
Colour: copper with orange highlights.
Nose: refined and deep. Intensely malty, heady (orris root), and citrus-driven, the aromatic palette evolves toward more medicinal (tiger balm), herbal (alfalfa), and honeyed (acacia) notes. With aeration, vibrant aromas of coconut, lychee, and passion fruit bring an exuberant lift.
Palate: lively yet silky. Powdery (ginger), infused (gentian), and fruity (pear, mirabelle plum), the flavour profile is remarkably youthful and fresh. Closely anchored in malted barley, it evokes the atmosphere of a traditional malting floor. Notes of candied lemon and perfectly ripe mango then sweep gracefully across the palate.
Finish: long and delicate. Led by gentle vanilla tones and refined hints of tobacco, the finish flows into herbal infusions (bay leaf, thyme, oregano). On the retro-nasal olfaction, raisins, dates, and almonds echo the influence of sherry wine, combining spice and salinity in a distinctly Andalusian register.
