Tasting Notes

Colour : Bright gold.

Nose : Fine, fresh. Behind pleasant notes of chlorophyll, the nose reveals an elegant, maritime, herbaceous, and oily peat. Upon aeration, aromas of lime, pear, and almond milk bring a beautiful freshness to the aromatic palette. Then, the peat becomes more animalistic (bacon, smoked fish) and dark (soot).

Palate : Lively, precise. Luminous, the palate’s attack showcases a liquorice and iodine-infused peat (glasswort). Vanilla and milky (coconut), the mid-palate evokes a barley field swept by a sea breeze. Similar to the nose, the finish becomes increasingly animalistic (fish).

Finish : Long, radiant. At the start of the finish, flavors of charcoal, tobacco, and ashes underscore an empyreumatic evolution. Revealing numerous aromatic plants (sage, water lily flower), the aftertaste reconnects with the mentholated and milky character of the nose.
