Founded in 2005, Kilchoman is Islay’s pioneering farm distillery and the first new distillery built on the island in over a century. Following a true farmhouse-distillery model, Kilchoman grows and malts a portion of its own barley on-site, giving its single malts a distinctive connection to the land and a characterful combination of citrus sweetness, peat smoke and maritime influence.
To celebrate 20 years of Kilchoman, the distillery has selected 20 exceptional casks that reflect two decades of its independent, family-run spirit. This 15-year-old expression, the third release in the series, was matured in ex-sherry butts, bringing additional richness and depth to Kilchoman’s naturally smoky character. Rich dark fruits, peppery spice and sherry sweetness intertwine with gentle peat smoke and briny notes, creating a powerful yet beautifully balanced expression.
